Klamfoth Inc. is a family owned, full-service landscape maintenance and design company. We have been in business for over 35 years and are looking for members to join our team! We currently have multiple openings in the following areas:

  • Residential and commercial mowing
  • Residential and commercial landscaping (laborers and foremen)
  • Hardscape Installation (laborers and foremen)

Residential & Commercial

Responsibilities include:

  • Mow lawns using a zero-turn, walk-behind, riding or manual mower
  • Use a weedeater and mechanical edge trimmer, and operate a backpack blower.
  • Spot Weed and maintain landscaping beds.
  • Pick up yard debris
  • Load and unload machinery, power tools and hand tools.
  • Comply with our safety policies and procedures.

Residential & Commercial

Responsibilities include:

  • Edge and mulch beds
  • Prune shrubs and trees using manual and mechanical trimmers
  • Install plantings
  • Haul and spread topsoil
  • Load and unload machinery, power tools and hand tools.
  • Comply with our safety policies and procedures.

Residential & Commercial

This is a working foreman position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Directly supervise a crew of 2 or more individuals
  • Ensure work is performed to quality specifications
  • Train crew members in specific tasks
  • Edge and mulch beds
  • Prune shrubs and trees using manual and mechanical trimmers
  • Install plantings and sod
  • Haul and spread topsoil
  • Load and unload machinery, power tools and hand tools.
  • Ensure crew is complying with our safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform demolition, excavation, trenching, grading and drainage work
  • Construct gavel and concrete foundations and footers
  • Build paver and natural stone patios, retaining and sitting walls, fire pits and fireplaces and outdoor kitchens.
  • Install outdoor lighting
  • Install plantings
  • Haul and spread topsoil
  • Load and unload machinery, power tools and hand tools.
  • Comply with our safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience in residential hardscape preferred
  • Mechanical skills to use equipment such as mini skid steers, skid steers and mini excavators.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in residential hardscape
  • Proficient in dry-laid pavers and segmental wall construction
  • Knowledge and experience of patio construction per ICPI specifications. ICPI certification a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience of retaining wall construction per NCMA specifications. NCMA certification a plus.
  • Mechanical skills to use equipment such as mini skid steers, skid steers and mini excavators.
  • Ability to interact with customers and co-workers in a professional manner.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Pay is negotiable and is based on experience. Paid holidays after 90 days. Seasonal overtime (paid at time and a half) is available.
  • All applicants must be able to provide reliable transportation to our headquarters in Canal Winchester. A clean driver’s license is a plus.
  • Must be able and willing to work outside in a wide range of weather conditions.
  • Most positions require occasional to frequent lifting of 50 lbs and walking, bending, squatting, kneeling and or standing for up to 8 hours at a time (with breaks).
